Proposal GS-2041The one most people end up choosing.
Your project
John, thanks for having me over on Thursday, and for the brew.
What I have put together is the full width of the back of the house, five metres and a bit, coming out three and a half. That gets you past the back door and covers the table with room to get round it, which is what you said you were after. Anthracite to match the bi-folds.
The one thing I would say: we talked about taking it out four metres. I would not. At three and a half you keep the morning light in the kitchen, and you said that was the room you live in. The extra half metre costs more and takes light away from the part of the house you use most.
The rainwater goes down the left-hand post and into the existing gully, so there is nothing new to dig.

Why this one
Modular construction means the width is a decision rather than a constraint.
A small choice that decides whether it reads as traditional or contemporary against your brickwork.
Matched to your window frames so it looks like it was always there.
What’s included
No provisional sums and nothing subject to survey. If something has to change we will tell you before we do it.
Specification
Every dimension, material and finish we have allowed for. This is exactly what you are getting.
Groundworks, a new patio, electrical supply and heating are not included unless they appear in the specification above. If you would like any of them, say so and we will price them separately rather than fold them in.
About Greystone
We are a family business in Stockport, fitting glass-enclosed verandas across the UK. Aluminium frames and glass sliding doors, made to measure for the space you have.
We are not a garden room company. A veranda is a different thing: it keeps the light and the view, and it gives you somewhere to sit that works in the rain and in February. That is the whole of what we do, and it is why we are quick about it.
Before you decide
